We are a stakeholder under the Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water & Rural Development (M.L.A.F.W.R.D), established in terms of Section 24 of the Water Act Chapter 20.24 of 1998, as read with Section 6 of Statutory Instrument (S.I) 209 of 2000. It falls under Save Catchment Council (Established in terms of Section 20 of the Water Act of 1998, as read with Section 3 of S.I.209 of 2000).Catchment Councils are subject to the general supervision of Zimbabwe National Water Authority (ZINWA) as stipulated in Section 11(2) of the water Act.
